Excitement registered at the beginning of programming course. Programming skills of the Student have remained without use for extended periods of time. Nostalgia towards times past encouraged by educators, early 2000s internet encouraged as a source of nostalgia and inspiration. Hope for the future present. The Student has unexpectedly fallen ill. Government meddling suspected. The world is not ready for the truth. A fellow Student presented a question about whether or not illness has yet been contracted. Illness contracted a day after. Suspicions arise about the nature of fellow Student and their potential gift of foresight. Lottery numbers will be requested upon reentry to class.
IDEAS FOR ASSIGNMENT "Website As A Space"
1: First Thing That Comes To Mind: A galaxy map. Made of web elements and ASCII art.
2: As Weird As Possible: The Theory Of Everything. A trippy god-like creature made of web elements and some rambling about the theory of the universe. Text should be INSIDE the creature and the elements should be animated to reveal parts of the text sometimes. The page should be UNreadable. Might need to smoke pot to actually come up with crazy text.
3: Anything Click Here For Nothing - Representation of My Life> A colourful collection of useless buttons that don't actually lead anywhere.
Ideas for website and final projects coming together. Theme solidified, ideas honed.
Text on website changed to better accommodate nature of website. Studies Journal altered for the same purpose.
"Website As A Space" assignment will be completed as "Click Here For Nothing" - however theme has been revised.
Will now be called "Enter The Void", idea otherwise unchanged.
"Poster" final assignment will be also taken from the list of three ideas, turning The Theory Of Everything into a representation of the Entity.
JavaScript Oracle function will be attempted to allow the Entity to communicate better with Observers.
Illness subsiding. Illness now resides in website itself instead of the Student.
.CSS style sheet non-functional. Fix not yet attempted, focusing on JavaScript tutorials to refresh memory.
Temporary .HTML code applied to visualize page style.
.HTML style also non-functional on pages that are not the front page. Reason unknown. Ghosts too loud and irritating to continue assignment as of now.
